Ky-Mani Marley was born February 26th, 1976 at Falmouth Jamaica. He is one the richest and most well-known Reggae Singers. Shottas was a classic movie where he was in the film with another vocalist Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed to Shang Records where he recorded his first album in the year 1996. Like Father Like Son and several singles: Judge Not with Patra followed by Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap Fit (remix) as well as Sensimelia each of which contributed to his growing reputation in the new wave of reggae musicians. Ky-Mani joined forces with Praswell from Fugees to record Electric Avenue from Eddy Grant. The song has been a big hit since 1997. Marley made his first appearance at Midem which is an international concert which was held in Miami. In the Cameo Theatre Marley performed a set which was aired live on air by the Caribbean News Agency to 36 countries. Marley's name was the subject of a bid war. He joined Gee Street/V2 Record in 1997 where he completed a collaboration with label mate P.M. Dawn on the track Gotta Be Movin On Up. Bob Marley is the father of his wife Anita Belnavis and he's their sole child. Ky-Mani Marley is among the richest Reggae Singer from Jamaica.
